New year, new start

New year, new start

Instead of writing a blog post about our latest project, we have written this update to encourage you to think about how this time of year can be the best time to promote YOUR charity or organisation… a sort of freebie from us here at Kingdomedia :-).

Profile your organisation through digital marketing by KingdomediaRather than settling for the January blues this time of year it’s great to get one step ahead of the game, which can be vital when it comes to fundraising and getting awareness of the good things you are doing out there. We’ve put together a couple of ideas to help you get started…

Use this time to think through how you would like to advertise in the coming year – do you have a marketing strategy for the next 12 months?

A new year is a new start and a good time to introduce something fresh and creative. It could be a competition, some free giveaways, an ‘introduce-a-friend’ scheme or a loyalty discount as some examples.

Don’t forget social media of course – now could be the time to revamp your charities’ Facebook page for example and most importantly make sure you commit to regular posting about your activities. Not only is this an easy (and free!) way to regularly get your organisation out there, search engines love it and if your social media is linked to your website it will really help to improve it’s place in search engine listings. Speak to us to find out more about ‘SEO’ or search engine optimisation – an affordable option!

And finally, before the busyness of this next year kicks in, don’t forget that your organisation is worth spending that extra time on to profile it properly! You will reap the rewards in months to come if you can give it some time and thought now. Kingdomedia would like to wish you every success in 2018.

Getting in the Christmas spirit with Liberty

Getting in the Christmas spirit with Liberty

Print sample for Liberty Christmas Posties by KingdomediaIt’s that time of year again and it’s always a busy time for us in terms of designing Christmassy things. This time it’s for Liberty Church Rotherham, and Liberty Church Swinton, to advertise their upcoming Christmas events. We created a set of versatile postcards so that they are easy to hand out on the street, look good in a display at the church’s info point, and are easy to put in your back pocket. Keeping it simple with enough info to advertise the events and that little bit of Christmas cheer. Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Grizzly is on the loose!!!

Christmas Grizzly is on the loose!!!

Promotional materials for Bolsterstone Christmas Trees by Kingdomedia‘Bolsterstone Christmas Trees hire grizzly bear with the help of International Freight Solutions…’ …well, not quite, but we like a bit of fun at this time of year so we thought we would share in some festive fun with our friends at Bolsterstone.

We had fun designing and making ‘Grizzly Bear’ (4′ high from standing), a couple of signs and some promotional flyers to advertise a bear hunt and Christmas tree sale.

A whole array of Christmas trees from 4ft to 40ft are now on sale in Bolsterstone, and of course tell your kids to watch out for grizzly bears on the loose!

Excalibur does the trick

Excalibur does the trick

Excalibur Banner Stand for Lost Chord by KingdomediaWhat’s Excalibur? I hear you ask… Well it’s none other than one of our best quality, sturdy and double sided pull-up banner stands. Standing at 1 metre wide and 2 metres high our new design for Lost Chord on an Excalibur stand will be the perfect backdrop for some of Lost Chord’s musicians as they perform in places such as Meadowhall, and also for Lost Chord generally to promote themselves far and wide. Being built to last it’s the perfect advertising tool for them to take around wherever they go.

At Kingdomedia we have built up some amazing supplier relationships over the years, making us fortunate enough to buy all our print at trade price, which helps us to pass on great savings to our customers. If you want ‘professional design’ and ‘great value promotional materials’, contact us to see how we can help you.

What’s all this about SSL?!

What’s all this about SSL?!

SSL_secure_websites_kingdomedia.org.ukGood question. A lot of people have been asking this, and Kingdomedia has been working with a number of our regular clients to help them navigate the latest web minefield created by an update to Google Chromes security.

We have even created a section on our website to help clients understand what it is and how we can help with it! Check it out here and get your questions answered…

Time to shop, shop, shop

Time to shop, shop, shop

It’s been great to collaborate with our friends at Grene IT to develop the shopping cart feature of Lost Chord’s website. A perfect example of how a website can keep growing and evolving, with the addition of an online shop to help Lost Chord sell items and also tickets for upcoming events. Accessible from the home page of the website we think the shop is both easy to manage for a web visitor but also has that design flair that makes it more than ‘just’ a shopping feature.

Through the online-shop Lost Chord sold over 400 tickets, generating healthy income sales, for a recent Lesley Garrett concert at Doncaster Minster.

Lost Chord Charity's website by KingdomediaIs your organisation’s website in need of a refresh? Is it even compliant with Google’s new security measures? We have been helping many of our clients from the community and voluntary sector to make their websites fully responsive to multiple devices and also remain in favour with Google. Should you like to discuss any of the above issues please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Happy 40th Birthday Maltby (Rother Valley) Lions!

Time to celebrate and we are joining in the celebrations with a 40th anniversary printed poster (2m long) for the local Lions at their upcoming Charter.

It’s been a privilege to support the Lions in their good work over the last 30 years and here at Kingdomedia we wish all the Lions past and present a very happy 40th birthday!

The Lions certainly know how to celebrate… they party as hard as they work, for so many amazing local causes.

Maltby’s local artist and comedian!

Maltby’s local artist and comedian!

We had a bit of fun designing these for local artist Dave Brennan. Dave was after some new business cards following a change in contact details and we put it to him, what better way to advertise himself than with one of his own humourous cartoons!

We think they are quite eye-catching and capture just the sort of artist that Dave is. A business card is not just about contact details after all and can be a vital part of conveying an idea or theme for an organisation or individual.

A successful range of design solutions for IFS

International Freight Solutions, a freight forwarding company, approached us to develop a design for an exhibition stand back in 2016. The work started with ideas for a new brand for the company and from there we have developed their brand across a range of media.

International Freight Services website design and development by kingdomediaIFS were so pleased with their new brand that they asked us if we could create their new website. Check it out here: www.intfreight.co.uk. The website also includes a news blog and incorporates sections where different forms can be filled in by potential clients, those seeking a quote for example. The work we have done with IFS has also led to opportunity to help them on a continual basis with digital marketing and maintaining their website.

The investment which IFS made in their marketing is now returning high dividends, as both new and old customers, now place orders through the new ordering system which we built into their website. Forging long term relationships with our clients is very rewarding, and of course, it is always great to share in the success!

Kiveton go live!

You may remember we were invited to design the website for Kiveton Community Church back in April. We are pleased to say it’s now live! Check it out here.

We also enjoyed taking the photos to support this website and agree that a friendly, smiling face is often the best kind of advertising. We wish Kiveton Community Church all the best with the launch of their new church plant and hope the website will be a great asset to them in their new venture.

If you are a similar organisation and would like to raise your profile, please don’t hesitate to message us. We specialise in helping the community and can offer extremely good value for money.

Design, produce, install

Coming up with marketing solutions to help organisations raise their profile is a process with many steps involved. At Kingdomedia we don’t ‘just’ do design but we like to get involved with the supply of the media and the installation of it where possible.

In this case we supported Maltby Baptist Church by completing the installation of a freestanding, lockable noticeboard to the entrance of Redwood Community Centre, which they manage. Our understanding of what makes something eye-catching helped us with all the details, such as managing the height and position of the board. We have many years of experience in the signage trade so if you need any help just ask.
